Privacy policy

This policy explains how UAB RubyPlius processes personal data you submit on rubyplius.lt or send us by email.

Effective from

1. Controller

UAB RubyPlius, company code 306303110, VAT code LT100018437914, registered office: Kalvarijų g. 176-55, LT-08205 Vilnius, Lithuania. Data protection contact: hello@rubyplius.lt.

2. What we collect

  • Enquiry form data: name, work email, company (optional), selected service, desired start and language, and the content of your message.
  • Correspondence: the content and contact details of emails you send us.
  • Technical data: IP address, request time and browser information recorded automatically in server logs to keep the website secure.

Please do not submit health data or other special categories of personal data through the form.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your enquiry and preparing a proposal — your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Sending articles, if you opted in — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • Website security and operation — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Retention

  • Enquiries and correspondence — 12 months after the last contact, unless a contract follows; then for the term of the contract and as long as required by law.
  • Newsletter consent — until you withdraw it.
  • Server logs — up to 90 days.

5. Recipients

Data may be processed by our service providers (website hosting, email and — with your consent — visitor analytics providers) acting as processors under data processing agreements. We do not sell data or share it with third parties for marketing. If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on GDPR safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) for visitor statistics. Analytics is enabled and its cookies (_ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years) are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner; if you decline, the Google script is not loaded at all. Legal basis — your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months. You can change it at any time: change cookie settings.

We do not use advertising or other tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own server, so without your consent visiting the site does not send your data to third parties.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict processing, receive your data in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal). Send requests to hello@rubyplius.lt; we reply within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (L. Sapiegos g. 17, LT-10312 Vilnius, vdai.lrv.lt).

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
